Because we serve so many clients, we are able to purchase expensive salary survey data on credit unions and community banks. Our database includes such sources as CUES, CUNA, BAI, Watson Wyatt, Mercer, ERI and more. These sources report what various financial institutions – grouped by asset size, geographic location, number of employees etc. – are paying their jobholders. We calculate a composite market price, adjusted to your economic area, and report the base salary values in percentiles – Minimum (25th), Market (50th) and Maximum (75th) percentile values. We can also tell you what other cash compensation (bonus/incentive as a percent of base) is typically paid to the jobholders.
Applying the data in your organization
There are several ways you can use our services:
1. Contract Salary Administration Service
This service includes our proprietary web-based Compensation Management System, QUEUE©; a mathematically correct linear regression Salary Table with salary grades, rates and ranges; all jobs – from CEO to janitor – priced to your particular market; on-going toll free 800 line support; annual update of your salary table, your performance based merit matrix, and more, much more. Not only do we market price your various jobs (External Equity), we help you assign appropriate grade values (Internal Equity) to each job.
To receive a proposal, please provide us with the following:
(a) Number of job titles at Executive levels.
(b) Number of job titles at the Management/Supervisory levels
(c) Number of other Exempt jobs.
(d) Number of Non-Exempt jobs.
(e) Number of Salary Tables needed. (Some credit unions operate branch offices in other states where salary values may be higher or lower than at head office.)
2. Market Priced Position Evaluations
This job pricing Service is delivered seamlessly, through the Internet. Simply go to our website www.bauschke.com and click on the words "MARKET PRICED POSITION EVAUALTIONS". You provide the required input and we provide you with three base-salary price points – Minimum (25th), Market (50th) and Maximum (75th) percentile values. Then you can decide how to incorporate this information into your system, which salary grade to assign to the job, and how to achieve internal equity. MasterCard or Visa payment is required to process the request form.
3. Customized Service
This is a blend of services. Some credit unions want us to price their jobs and also discuss how to use the information internally. A charge is made for support services as well as the job-pricing service.
